All of the inmates who escaped from the DeKalb County Jail have been recaptured a day later.

Sheriff Patrick Ray said 21-year-old Brandon Bias was caught at a home in Smithville. He tried to run from an officer but was caught without incident. Police also charge four people with aiding his escape. Thirty-year-old Ernest Hill was caught at a home in Watertown.

The two other prisoners, 19-year-old Jeffrey Hendrix and 34-year-old Larry George, were captured later in the day on Thursday.

Authorities said the men escaped through a skylight on the jail's roof. Workers have since replaced the skylight with a metal roof.
