NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The controversial juvenile court clerk in Davidson County made his Friday deadline that a judge had mandated.

Vic Lineweaver was arrested and held in contempt of court Wednesday for failing to produce files to a trio of juvenile judges.

Those judges also gave him until 4:30 p.m. Friday to deliver more than 120 other files.

Lineweaver said his office delivered those files on time.

A spokesman for the court said the judges will review the files over the next few days to see if Lineweaver will avoid another contempt charge.
