Authorities Believe Richard McKeel Hiding In Mississippi

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Police in Mississippi said they are closing in on a fugitive that escaped his work release job in Nashville.Last week, Richard McKeel walked away from his job at a Bellevue Waffle House.Police believe he is hiding out in Greenville, Miss.Investigators said they have arrested an accomplice in his escape and are close to finding McKeel.
At the time of his escape, McKeel was serving a 13-year sentence for burglary, robbery, theft and forgery.He had about four years left in prison, but once he is captured, police said more time will be added to his sentence.
