NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A trucker police said could be a serial killer has been charged with a slaying in Alabama.
Video: Trucker Now Charged In Birmingham DeathBirmingham authorities said they have obtained a murder warrant against Bruce Mendenhall.Mendenhall was arrested at a Nashville truck stop earlier this month and is charged in the death of Sara Nicole Hulbert. Hulbert’s body was found at a Nashville truck stop.Investigators said they have collected hundreds of pieces of evidence from his truck and that it could take six weeks to process it all.Police said Mendenhall has admitted to at least six killings since February.Fifty or more police agencies across the U.S. are investigating whether he could be connected to unsolved murders.
