There will be some relief for businesses who are struggling to stay afloat because of low water levels on Lake Cumberland.

The small business administration is offering low-interest loans for lake dependent businesses in parts of central and southern Kentucky.

Businesses can qualify for loans up to $1.5 million.

It is estimated businesses along the lake could lose more than $23 million.

The Army Corps of Engineers lowered water levels while repair work is done at Wolf Creek Dam.
