Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agents and state troopers on Wednesday morning surrounded a former state trooper's home in Alexandria, Tenn.

Officials on Wednesday said they took the hard drive from former Trooper James Randy Moss' computer, cell phone and floppy disks.

On Tuesday, officials said they were reviewing more than 25 traffic stops involving Moss.

The trooper resigned after a porn actress said she performed oral sex on him during a stop.

District Attorney General Tommy Thompson said publicity surrounding the case has prompted other women to come forth with complaints about Moss, which the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the FBI are conducting an investigating.

"A lot of these women live out of state," he told The Knoxville News Sentinel in a story published Tuesday on its Web site. "Some of it may be unfounded. But we're taking it beyond this initial traffic stop."

Thompson has already said he plans to see an indictment against Moss, 40, possibly charging him with official misconduct and tampering with evidence after he stopped Justis Richert, 21, of Knoxville for speeding near Lebanon in May.

Using her porn film name "Barbie Cummings," Richert wrote about their encounter on her blog and said the trooper sent her photos and video he shot at the stop.

Moss issued Richert a citation for speeding. Richert's blog said that although she acknowledged having drugs she described only as "happy pills," the trooper threw them into the brush near the highway.

After the Wednesday raid, Moss went directly to his attorney Jack Lowery's office.

Lowery wouldn't say what his client had disclosed to him about the traffic stop with the porn actress or any other alleged incident with drivers. All Lowery said is that investigators were at Moss' home for several hours.

"There are no charges against him. He voluntarily resigned from the highway patrol, and that's the status of the case right now," said Lowery.
