NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The family of a great grandmother who was beaten and strangled in her Bellevue home has mixed emotions about her killer's plea deal.
Video: Illegal Alien Pleads Guilty In Bellevue SlayingIvan Moreno, a next-door neighbor, pleaded guilty to the August 2006 murder of Mary Sadler.Sadler's body was found beaten and strangled inside the house where she had lived for 35 years.The murder was so heinous that some veteran police officers said it was one of the worst crimes they had ever seen.Sadler's family said they wanted Moreno to face the death penalty but are satisfied he will spend the rest of his life in prison.Moreno is from Mexico and is in the United States illegally.
