SMYRNA, Tenn. -- A man in Smyrna has been accused of animal cruelty.Police said James Fortenberry was charged with aggravated cruelty to animals after tossing a puppy from a second-floor balcony.According to Smyrna police, Fortenberry tortured the 9-week-old beagle before tossing it to its death.Police said Fortenberry threw the puppy in the dumpster.
