NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Perry March may be running out of options in his attempt to get his children sent back to Mexico.
Video: Custody Of March Children To Be Decided In CourtFour courts have ruled that March's case to send his children to Mexico can only be decided in juvenile court.March is in prison for the murder of his wife and both children’s mother, Janet March.
All of the courts have been pushing the case back to juvenile court, where the case was Thursday. There was a blanket gag order issued by the judge, so no part of the hearing can be discussed or reported.Media wasn’t allowed in the proceedings. The court that has consistently ruled in the favor of the children’s grandparents, Larry and Carolyn Levine, who are the parents of Janet March. The court has granted the Levines temporary custody and could grant them permanent custody. There is no evidence that the Davidson County juvenile court would have any reason or legal basis to send the two children, Sami and Tzipi, to Mexico to live with their stepmother Carmen.Sami March is now 15, and can't be sent without his own approval.March previously tried to use the Hague Convention to get his children sent back to Mexico. The Hague Convention is an international law that helps parents retrieve their children from another country.
