The shooting occurred around 4:00 p.m. at the Campus Crossing Apartments.

Michael Holt told police that he and a friend were watching television when they heard a knock at the door.

When they opened the door, two men with guns came in and said, “This is a robbery.” Holt said he and his friend, Chris DeBerry O’Connor, were then beaten and tied up.

Holt then recalled hearing a, “Pop, Pop, Pop,” and saw that O’Connor, and the two accused robbers had been shot.

Holt told police he managed to get outside and yell for help, while the three men who were shot were still inside the apartment.

The police report also showed that detectives found a line of white powder and a small straw on a dresser in one of the bedrooms.
