Thousands Take Advantage Of Early Voting
4 Percent Of Registered Voters Have Voted Early

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- As of Friday, about 12,000 people had cast their ballots during the early-voting period for Davidson County's August election. Special Section: Nashville Mayoral Race The Election Commission estimates those figures represent about 4 percent of the more than 300,000 registered voters in Davidson County.
Early voting ends on July 28. The election will be held on Aug. 2.
