1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
1 cup brown sugar firmly packed
1/2 cup orange juice

Separate crescent rolls into triangles. Peel, core and slice apples into 8 pieces each. Wrap each apple slice in 1 crescent rolls and place in a 9x13 well buttered dish. Set aside. In sauce pan, melt 1 stick butter and brown sugar. Using a wooden spoon, bring to a boil and boil for 2 minutes stirring constantly. Carefully, add orange juice and cinnamon and cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat and pour over turnovers. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Flip turnovers and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes. Serve warm with or without vanilla ice cream.
