Student With Meningitis Released From Hospital
Two Hundred Students Take Precautionary Antibiotics

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -- An Austin Peay State University student who contracted meningitis was released this week from the hospital and is no longer on medication.However, officials still said he is very weak and still not ready to return to school.The student affairs department at the school is helping him get caught up on his school work.Two hundred other students at the university took antibiotics as a precaution. No one else has contracted meningitis.
