Woman Says Boy, 6, Bloodied Her Nose

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -- A Clarksville woman is recovering after being attacked by a 6-year-old boy, police said.

The woman told police the boy was swearing at her children at her Evans Road home last week, so she tried to send him home.

She said that’s when the boy became violent, bit her several times and hit her in the head and face, which bloodied her nose.

According to authorities, the child's mother, Paula Welling, said she knew he was dangerous and needed supervision.

Welling has been cited.
