Only 20 Workers Accept TSU Buyout

The future is uncertain for several employees at Tennessee State University.

The college was hoping to avoid layoffs with buyouts, but only about 20 workers have accepted the offer so far.

The school needs 100 workers to participate.

The deadline is Tuesday.

The school has a $6 million budget deficit.
