NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Hundreds of people rallied in Nashville on Thursday to fight for what they perceive are fair wages. With signs in hand, Tennessee workers, state representatives and union leaders gathered at Legislative Plaza for the rally.Dozens spoke out against U.S. Sen. Bob Corker, who the groups claim isn't helping the hard workers of middle Tennessee.Channel 4 spoke with some union workers who said they are having a hard enough time staying afloat in the current economy."If we don't make a product, what are we going to do? We cannot go out and experience hotels. We can't experience tourism. We can’t experience anything if we don't have the money to make a living and support our family," said union worker Marilyn Brown. One of Corker's representatives said that as a former union member himself, the senator understands the frustration of the workers and believes their focus on him is misguided. Corker said he is doing everything in his power to get credit flowing and the economy back on track.
