IRS Considers Bartering Taxable Transaction

A new spin on a centuries-old tradition is helping consumers get what they want without paying for it.

Internet sites are allowing let people barter for items and services.

People are trading everything from breast augmentation to tombstones and Botox.

Consumer should be aware that the Internal Revenue Service considers bartering a taxable transaction.
