Firefighters Couldn't Get Woman Down Hallway

HOUSTON -- Firefighters broke down a wall to get a 400-pound woman out of her apartment on Sunday, KPRC-TV in Houston reported.

The woman broke her leg and needed to go to the hospital.

Crews couldn't get the woman down the hallway, so they cut open an exterior wall of her second-floor apartment.

Firefighters used a ladder truck and a pulley system to get the woman down to the ground.

Firefighters said they go through special training to deal with unique rescues.
