NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Governmental clinical trials have confirmed that children under the age of 9 need two doses of the vaccine four weeks apart to be fully protected.
Unlike the seasonal flu, which is most dangerous to the elderly, the H1N1 virus has proven particularly deadly for children.Nashville's Metro Health Department got another shipment of 1,000 doses of injectable vaccine and went through the supply in just a few hours Tuesday. The FluMist is still available for free.
