NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A Hendersonville man said he is on a mission after his wife died from breast cancer.

Their last family trip was in August. Rochelle died two months later; Jacob was only 2 years old.
"She was really healthy at the time she was diagnosed. She had a mastectomy when she was six months pregnant,” said her husband, Dr. Matt Yuill.Yuill, a doctor in Hendersonville, said that after Rochelle had Jacob, they found out the cancer spread.“What we thought was stage two cancer was actually metastatic and spread to her liver,” Yuill said. The state legislature has now approved the development of a special pink ribbon license plate, which Yuill said he believes is a good way to pay tribute to all the people who've been touched by the disease.“It’s a very positive project, and it's a good way to focus my energy and a great way to honor her memory and all those affected by breast cancer, their kids and spouses,” Yuill said.He also started a Web site dedicated to Rochelle and said he is keeping count of the number of specialty plates sold: right now it's at 248. A total of 1,000 people have to preorder a tag before the state will produce the plates, and time is limited; June 30 is the deadline.“If a woman sees a license plate and it reminds her to get her mammogram and you know if just one person can get their mammogram on time, it would be worth it,” Yuill said. The plates cost $35 and the proceeds will go to the six Susan G. Komen chapters in Tennessee. The funds will be used to support treatment and educational programs. To find out how you can sign up for a plate, click one of the following links.Click On The Following Links For More Information: Susan G.
