NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A giant of bluegrass music has passed away.Banjo player Allen Shelton, 73, died Saturday at Centennial Medical Center of leukemia, according to The Tennessean newspaper.His banjo music played a key role in classic recordings with the duo Jim and Jesse, and Jim Eanes.He also recorded a number of solo records.
