Singer Steven Curtis Chapman is giving a new home to children who don't have one.

Chapman and his wife opened Maria's Big House of Hope in China Thursday.

The home is named after Chapman's 5-year-old daughter, Maria, who died last year. The family adopted Maria from China.

The home is dedicated to special-needs orphans and providing them with much-needed medical care.
