WSMV.COM Holiday World Sweepstakes - Official Rules

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

2. To enter, complete the registration and entry form at www.wsmv.com. There is no cost to register or enter. Sweepstakes will be announced on June 13, 2008, during WSMV-TV’s More At Midday (12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.). Sweepstakes begins June 13, 2008 and ends July 25, 2008 (“Sweepstakes Period”). One entry per email address during the Sweepstakes Period. Entries must be received by July 25, 2008 at 1:59 p.m. Two (2) winners will be selected each Friday during the Sweepstakes Period except for the week of July 4, 2008. Non-winning weekly entries will be carried forward to subsequent weekly drawings during the Sweepstakes Period.

3. Entrants must be legal residents of Tennessee and 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees of WSMV-TV, Meredith Corporation, Internet Broadcasting Systems, Holiday World, or their parent, subsidiary, and affiliated companies, and their advertising or promotional agencies (collectively, the “Sweepstakes Entities”), and the immediate families or members of the same households of such individuals are not eligible. Winners of a prize from WSMV-TV within the past thirty (30) days from the beginning date of this sweepstakes are not eligible.

4. Two (2) winners will be selected each Friday during the Sweepstakes Period, under the supervision of a WSMV-TV representative. All decisions of WSMV-TV regarding winner selection and this sweepstakes are final. Winners will be notified by phone or email within one (1) day of drawing.

WSMV-TV is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries. WSMV-TV is not responsible for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of, or failure of WSMV-TV to receive entry information on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or the Web site or any combination thereof. WSMV-TV also is not responsible for any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other’s computer related to or resulting from entering the sweepstakes. WSMV-TV reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel sweepstakes if it becomes technically corrupted or because of non-authorized human intervention. In the event of cancellation, the prize will be awarded by a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the date of cancellation. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an electronic entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the person whose name the corresponding e-mail account is registered to. All entries become the property of WSMV-TV and will not be returned.

5. Twelve (12) prizes will be awarded. Each winner will receive two (2) General Admission tickets to Holiday World Splashin’ Safari to be used during the 2008 season and excludes the following dates: September 6, 7, and 14, retail value $79.90. One prize per household. Prizes must be picked up at WSMV-TV located at 5700 Knob Road, Nashville TN 37209. Prize may not be assigned, transferred, changed or redeemed for cash. WSMV-TV reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if prize cannot be awarded as described. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

6. Entry constitutes permission for WSMV-TV to use winner’s name, hometown, likeness, photographs, voice and statements regarding this sweepstakes for editorial, public relations, promotional and advertising purposes on behalf of WSMV-TV and Meredith Corporation without compensation unless prohibited by law. Winner, and where applicable, travel companion, will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability/Publicity unless prohibited by law, within two days of notification. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, fails to claim prize, fails to comply with all rules, is unable to travel on dates of prize or attend event on prize date or fails to respond to the winner notification, the selected winner is disqualified and the prize is forfeited. If forfeited, another winner will be selected from among the eligible entries by random drawing. Subject to all U.S. federal, Tennessee state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. Applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners.

7. By participating and winning a prize, winners release WSMV-TV, Meredith Corporation, Holiday World, Internet Broadcasting Systems, and their parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and agents, and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents from any and all liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in the sweepstakes or any prize awarded.
