People are crazy about their Jess, but there's no doubt that she's has been a pop artist -- does she have what it take to succeed in country?

We asked a mix of fans today, young and old, men and women.

A lot of people said they think she can pull it off…some said no way and others simply said it will be "interesting."

On another note…much older and a little more "country"... Alan Jackson signed autographs at a fan booth for the first time in 10 years. He also pulled in a good crowd.

Known for being a bit shy, he stood up on a chair after signing and simply, but sincerely, waved to and acknowledged every fan standing there.

Before you knew it, his crisp, white hat trailed through the crowd and out the nearest exit.
