NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The entertainment gossip Web site TMZ.com reported that country singer Gretchen Wilson became unruly last week on a flight, resulting in her receiving an in-flight citation.

The site reported that the singer became upset Wednesday night on a flight from Nashville to Los Angeles when the flight crew asked her to put her dog back into its carrier case.

TMZ.com cites sources who said Wilson became "belligerent and verbally abusive" to the flight staff.

The Web site said that the flight crew took drinking privileges away from the group that Wilson was traveling with.
