Listen up!

Class is in session.

TNA's pay-per-view "Final Resolution" is history. On Friday, I put down what I think "should" happen in the top matches on the card, followed by what "will" happen. Today, what "did" happen:

Last Man Standing Match: Rhino vs. A.J. Styles
What Should Happen: Styles has done a fine job in this series elevating Rhino to good matches. That should continue here.

What Will Happen: Styles will be the last man standing.

What Did Happen: Rhino was the last man standing.

X-Division Championship Match: Christopher Daniels (c) vs. Jerry Lynn vs. Chris Sabin
What Should Happen: I think Daniels should retain, but it's nice to see Lynn in the ring again.

What Will Happen: Daniels will win. Don't be surprised in Lynn gets it, but I'm sticking with The Fallen Angel.

What Did Happen: Sabin pinned Lynn to capture the X-Belt.

NWA World Tag Team Title Match: The Latin American Exchange vs. Team 3D
What Should Happen: In a sad, true-life story, LAX's manager, Konnan, needs a kidney. For more information on how you can help, please visit this Web page. As for the match, I'd like to see Team 3D chase these belts for a while. They shouldn't win them in the first fight.

What Will Happen: LAX retains.

What Did Happen: Team 3D was disqualified, LAX kept their belts.

30-Minute Ironman Match: Samoa Joe vs. Kurt Angle
What Should Happen: Each man has a win apiece in this series. This is the third meeting, and it should be great. I'd allow Angle to get the win, but reward Joe with the NWA title in a few months for doing such a great job with this program. Then they can battle over the title for a few months.

What Will Happen: I think Angle will be the winner.

What Did Happen: Angle won three pins to two in 30 minutes.

NWA World Heavyweight Title Match: Abyss (c) vs. Christian Cage vs. Sting
What Should Happen: You know, I'm a bit bored with Abyss as champ. I'm tempted to suggest that Cage take it over again. He is a great heel, after all. But then again, any time manager James Mitchell is in the spotlight, that's a good thing -- so maybe Abbie should retain.

What Will Happen: I don't see a title switch here. Eventually, yes. But not yet. Abyss will win.

What Did Happen: Christian took it, pinning Sting.

That's it. For the record, only two right and three wrong in the big matches Sunday night. Hey kids, sometimes you're the bug, sometimes you're the windshield.

One other bit of business. Don't forget to download Episode 15 of our podcast, "Old School, New School." It's RIGHT HERE! This week, Dr. Mike Lano, George Schire and yours truly chat about Ric Flair, the best wrestling venues, women's grappling and much, much, much more. It's "Old School, New School." Don't you dare miss it!

Now scram, because this class is -- dismissed.
