NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A mistake during a planned water system repair ended up shutting down water service to Metro General Hospital Wednesday.Water pressure was up and down for much of the day, which caused problems for the hospital’s sprinkler system.Workers then found a bad valve that required all water service to be shut down.
Fire trucks were brought in to make sure the water supply had pressure in case of an emergency. Bottled water was taken to the emergency room.
