NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Boulevard Bolt is a Thanksgiving tradition in Nashville. Because of the economy, more people were needed this year than ever.The Boulevard Bolt is a five-mile run and walk along Belle Meade Boulevard on Thanksgiving Day.Last year, it raised a record $165,000 and drew 8,000 registrants. This year's race, in which 8,100 participated, will benefit 23 local charities that help the homeless.With many people having hard times financially, race organizers hoped more people would run this year.Additional Resource:
