ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. -- An accident at a concrete company landed one worker in a hospital and cost him his leg.A worker at Jarrett Concrete Products and Supply in Ashland City got his leg stuck in a concrete auger, officials said.The auger is a machine that stirs concrete.Firefighters said the man's leg had to be amputated on site.
He was then flown to Vanderbilt Medical Center for further treatment.
