NCAA Game Summary - Southeast Missouri State At Tennessee State

(Sports Network) - Gerald Robinson scored 25 points to lead the Tennessee State Tigers to an 87-82 victory over the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks in an Ohio Valley Conference tilt at the Gentry Center.

Jerrell Houston added a double-double of 19 points and 16 rebounds for TSU (11-17, 8-9 OVC), while Darius Cox also tallied a double-double, consisting of 16 points and 10 boards. Emmanuel Gaiter registered 11 points off the bench in the win.

Kenard Moore tallied 22 points for SEMO (3-26, 0-17), while Jajuan Maxwell contributed 17 points and nine rebounds. Jaycen Herring registered 16 points, seven rebounds and six assists, while Johnny Hill and LaMont Russell chipped in with 15 and 10 points, respectively.

The Tigers shot 46.7 percent from the floor in the first stanza and also connected on 14-of-19 shots from the foul line to go into the break with a 43-41 advantage.

TSU continued to shoot well in the second half, netting 45.2 percent of its attempts from the field, en route to the five-point win.

The Tigers made 27-of-36 attempts from the foul line in the game, while SEMO connected on just 11-of-15 shots from the charity stripe.
