A Columbia Academy band director has been arrested, accused of inappropriate messages on social media with a student. Columbia Police said they don't know how long the messages were being sent.

After performing for years, a tragedy stopped the music for a former middle Tennessee sheriff. It would take a very special reason to start the music again. Meeting on the property of Rippavilla Plantation, band members started warming up their instruments, back for a little of that old country sound. It was a crew fronted by former Williamson County Sheriff Ricky Headley. "I named the band Pure Country over 20 years ago," said Headley.
